This week began our food drive.  If possible, please send in non-perishable food to donate through the 17th. All food donations will be given to CRS to help stock their shelves for the upcoming holidays.

Language ArtsThis week's story focused on the essential question, How can people help animals survive? The stories were Expository Texts which are non-fiction, informative texts. We focused on the following...

-Strategy: reread for understanding
-Skill:Author's Point of View compared to our point of view
-Building vocabulary

When reading with your children ask them what the Author's point of view is...(prompt them by asking what they feel the author's opinion is on the topic)
