Language Arts- Essential Question this week-  How do people make government work?

The past week we read the stories, "Every Vote Counts", and " Vote!".  This week we worked on author's point of view, prefixes, and vocabulary.  We also worked on our narrative writing piece about Halloween.   

Math- 

This past week in math we learned the final multiplication and division strategy, using a multiplication table. We will be testing over topic 5 this Thursday. 

Please practice math facts nightly.

Science- We are learning a lot about matter and will continue to explore the different states this next week.

Report cards will be available electronically Monday.
