This week's poems focused on the essential question, How do people figure things out? This week we read many poems that had to do with this essential question.  We focused on the following...
-Strategy: Alliteration and rhyme
-Skill:Author's Point of View compared to our point of view
-Building vocabulary

This coming week we will be taking a break from Wonders to read Magic Tree House #27, Thanksgiving on Thursday.  We'll also get into the spirit of Thanksgiving with a thankful writing assignment. 

Math- 
This week In math we learned the final multiplication and division strategy, using a multiplication table. We will be testing over topic 5 this Wednesday. 

Classroom News

The CRS food drive ends on the 18th. Our class has already donated over 40 items!

Just a reminder...With the increase of absences this time of year, I will be having more assignments listed in their Google Classroom. That way, if your child is out and begins to feel better during the day, they can begin to work on their missing assignments at home just by logging into their Google Classroom accounts. This is something we have been practicing since the beginning of school so they should all know how to navigate the site.
