Our stories this week are Folktales. We will be citing relevant evidence from the text to help answer questions about the stories. We will also be discussing the moral of the stories and what the point of view, or perspective, the narrator has.

We will also be wrapping up or current writing which is an informative piece about how to build a snowman.
Math- We just wrapped up Topic 8 in math on Thursday. Topic 9 focuses on adding and subtracting three digit numbers with and without regrouping. The test will be in the next week or week and a half. Topic 10 will run a little differently. Topic 10 focuses on Multiplying by multiples of 10. We incorporated a lot of this when we had the topic on multiplication earlier this year so this is much like a review.

Science-
We have begun our unit of Rocks and Minerals. We are exploring how rocks are formed and the three types of rocks and how they are composed of minerals.
