This week's story focused on the essential question, How do people figure things out? This week we read many poems that had to do with this essential question.  We focused on the following...
-Strategy: Alliteration and rhyme
-Skill:Author's Point of View compared to our point of view
-Building vocabulary
-Spelling-Words with digraphs

Math- We are finishing up topic 5 and will taking our test on Tuesday.  We will take the test online again.  As always children will have the opportunity to earn extra points if they score below a C- on the test.  

              Please practice math facts nightly.

Science- Kids have been going to Mrs. Austin's room to learn about Matter. Our field trip to the library will be, Monday, November 20th about Matter.

Please look at your child's planner each night.  Also, please be sure to look through your child's binder each Friday when we send home papers from that week.
