Language Arts/writing-  We have been enjoying Charlie and the Chocolate Factory over the past couple weeks.  The children have been creating a Google slide show in class and will be presenting their projects to us. 

Math-  We finished up our math test on topic 14 this past Wednesday and they were sent home in there Friday folder.  We began Topic 5 on Friday, attributes of two-dimensional shapes. It is a short topic, but we will be taking our time on it and slowing things down in light of AIR tests one rate next couple week's.

 

Upcoming events and news...

This week we will be beginning AIR testing on Wednesday and Friday. This week will be the reading portion, the following week will be on the same days, but with math.  I will be limiting the amount of homework over the next couple week's due to the tests, please make sure that your child gets to bed early on testing nights and eats a healthy breakfast.  

 

This Monday will be spring pictures.
