Dear Parents, 

  This week in Language Arts we will be beginning Little House on the Prairie located in our reading books. We will span this story over the next two weeks and at the same time I will be reading Sarah, Plain and Tall so that we can compare the two stories.  In math we will continue to review addition and subtraction skills in Topic 9 and we will be taking a shortened test on Thursday this week over topic 9.  Friday we will be review multiples of 10, similar to the beginning of the year, and then next week we will be moving onto topic 11.  There will not be a topic 10 test.  In social studies we will be learning about Consumers and Producers and we will be brainstorming new products and presenting them in class in a Shark Tank fashion.  In grammar we will be learning about irregular verbs.  Tomorrow we will have an assembly and on Thursday I have an inservice to attend so I will be out.  Have a nice week, enjoy the spring like weather.
