Language Arts- In third grade we have been reading the story "Fantastic Mr. Fox" by Roald Dahl. We have been working on characterization as well as figurative language. This kids have really been enjoying this story which we will be wrapping it up this week. 
Math- This week we will also be finishing up learning about perimeter. We will be completing a worksheet over this concept on Tuesday to wrap it up, but we will not be having a formal assessment over it. The remainder of the week will be working on multi-step story problems. 

Social Studies- We are learning about spending and saving and next week we will be learning about the history of Avon Lake. In May, we will take a local field trip to the Peter Miller House and the cemetery to learn more about Avon Lake history.
