Language Arts- This week we read poems that talked about how we are inspired by others.  We discussed the parts of a poem and also the theme of each poem. We also focused on metaphors and discussing figurative language. 

For the next week we will take a break from our Wonders Program and we will be working out or our Storyworks magazine as well as practicing test taking skills. 

Writing-We will continuing to work on an opinion based pieces.  

Math- This past week we worked on Topic 13, equivalent fractions and fractions to the nearest 1/2 or whole. We will be testing over this on concept on Thursday.
