Language Arts- This week we read poems that talked about how we are inspired by others.  We discussed the parts of a poem and also the theme of each poem. We also focused on metaphors and discussing figurative language. 

For the next couple weeks we will take a break from our Wonders Program and we will be working out or our Storyworks magazine as well as reading a play. We will continue on workin got third grade reading skills during this time. 

Writing-We will be working on an opinion piece based on the story, Hey Little Ant"

Math- For the next couple weeks we will be working on Topic 14- Time and measurement. 

Social Studies- We will be learning about the History of Avon Lake.
