What a magical year it has been!

We just finished up reading about Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.  We have  a few more activities that we will be doing to wrap it up this week.  As a follow-up to reading this book, kids may check-out, The Glass Elevator,  from the library this summer and write a short summary about the book to be turned in when they return in the fall.  If they do this they will get a prize.  Information will be sent home this week.

Tuesday, May 29th- Activity Day for our class will be in the afternoon.  Our class voted to have Harry Potter be our dress-up theme. Please do not go out and purchase anything new for this.  If they do not have any Harry Potter attire they can easily wear a color of their choice and say it goes along with one of the house colors.

Wednesday, May 30th- Move-up day. Kids will be able to spend a little time with their fourth grade teacher for next year.  They will either have Ms. Forte, or Ms. L. Smith next year.  Mrs. Austin and I  will also have a fun surprise activity for the kids in the afternoon.

Thursday, May 31st- Last Day of school.  Talent show and 4th grade clap-out at the end of the day.
