Language Arts- Last week we finished up our review week and moved onto our new Essential Question this week- Why is working together a good way to solve a problem?
This week we read the stories, "Anasi" and "Road Runners" and "Deltona is going Batty".  These are Folk Tales.
Since we had a couple days off the previous week, our schedule of the week will now run Thursday-Wednesday the following week with this unit. So we are only 2 days into these stories and will continue through this Wednesday.  

Math- This week we will be finishingTopic 4.  We will review on Wednesday and test on Thursday.

A few more things...
    Monday we will be visiting the book fair.  Our time is from 11:20-11:40.  
Tuesday is Cavs/Indians day.  Kids can wear their sports gear. 
Tuesday third grade will be getting a visit from the fire house.  
Friday I have an inservice so I will be out.  Please be sure if there is a change in transportation home that day, you let the office know just n case I don't get the email. 
Mrs. Grabowski is working on a sign up for our class Halloween party.  Be sure to look for that coming soon.
