Language Arts-  We are still working on Dragon in the Rocks for the next couple days.  

I will be sending home a study review paper for our test, which is Wednesday.  The study paper will come home tomorrow and I would like it back on Wednesday.  For the remainder of the week we will be reading short passages and working on comprehension questions that are similar to what they will be seeing on state tests. 

Math-  We have been working on fractions and this week we will be introducing them to a number line and plotting them.  We will be wrapping up topic 12 this week and we will review for our topic 12 test on Monday next week and our topic 12 test will be on Tuesday next week.  

Social Studies- We are still presenting our products a couple days this week and will be wrapping up on Wednesday.  

Next week we will be switching again to Mr. Pros for Social Studies.

Writing- we have been working on writing opinion pieces on various topics.

Upcoming events and news...

There is no Choir this Wednesday

 -This week is COSI.  Third grade will be participating on Friday, @1:15. 

-Our Field Trip to the Science Center is Tuesday, February 23rd.  Also there is still a volunteer spot available for this field trip.  The cost is the same for parent volunteers as for the students.  

-Library Field Trip is Monday, February 23rd in the afternoon.  Topic is rocks. Permission forms are not necessary since it is a filed trip within Avon Lake, permission was given via Info Snap at the beginning of the year. If you have any question please let me know.
