We had a great week in third grade! In Language Arts we began reading our story on Ellis Island and concentrated on the Main Idea and Details for each section. We will continue this story the week. In Grammar we are working on singular and plural verbs. In math we are finishing up topic 5. Instead of giving a big assessment for this topic we will be having a short assessment on Tuesday. A review sheet will be coming home tomorrow to help study for the assessment. We will be completing the review during class on Monday so that they will have the review to study off of for Monday night.

Third grade will be taking the AIR state test on December 2nd and 3rd. These are in place of the Ohio Achievement tests and PARCC. Please make sure that your children have a healthy breakfast and plenty of sleep to help prepare. These tests will be taken online. Please ask your child if their headphones are working properly.
