Language Arts- This week we read poems that talked about how we are inspired by others.  We discussed the parts of a poem and also the theme of each poem. We also focused on metaphors and discussing figurative language. 

Writing-We  wrote limericks in honor of St. Patrick's Day and are working on an opinion piece that states if they think leprechauns are real or not.

Math- This week we will be finishing up with topic 11 in math and took our test today.  We will be beginning Topic 12 on Fractions tomorrow and plan on being finished with it at the end of March.
