It was a hot week in our classroom last week and tomorrow doesn't look much better. If anyone would like to bring in popsicles, just send me an email letting me know :) Last week in Language Arts we began to read about King Midas, we will continue the story this week and take a quiz over this story on Friday. We have been talking about character traits and how to answer questions about the story and providing evidence for the answers. In math we wrapped up topic 1 by taking a test on Friday. We will be going over the test tomorrow and taking a MAPS math assessment as mentioned in last week's post. On Wednesday we will be beginning topic 2. No homework in math will be given tomorrow.
